After my Make & Take party, Hailey and I got my kids settled for bed and then took off for a late night GNO. (Brett's out of town this week) We went to the new chick flick- The Choice. It doesn't officially come out until tomorrow but we had the theater ALL to ourselves. It was like a flashback from our Black Friday days! LOL It was a total chick flick! And then when we left the theater almost delirious from our late night festivities- it was like we were in the Twilight Zone. We were seriously the ONLY ones in the theater. Like.... NO employees or anything! {Check out the snack bar below} It was creepy. I think we only past one or two cars on the ride home even with us stopping for gas. Spooky!! But it was some darn good girl time- so it was worth risking our lives in some alternate universe, right? Luv ya lady!

Mama Rave REMIX
My friend Mishel headed up planning our Mama Rave this time. Thanks lady for planning something! Love being with you all.
A bunch of us went to dinner first. It's always a hoot to get us all together. Mishel loves Jade Garden. The only time I've ever been there is with her! ;) But I have become very fond of their lettuce wraps! Yum! And I love fortune cookies so bring those on (between the sheets! LOL)
A few of us kept the party going with a stop to the beauty supply store and Target before heading to the Gateway Center for some dancing! Always fun to shop with friends!
Ladies over 21, come celebrate our 11th event with a recap of the best things "mama rave"! If you have not been to one of our events, come see what you are missing!Drinks,Water, dancing, door prizes are what we are ALL ABOUT. We are Helena's ( and quite possibly MONTANA's) exclusive girls night out!
Over $1600!!!! in door prizes await you!
Come check out our photo booth and CUSTOM Big Dipper Ice Cream Flavor...and more surprises!!
Ticket sales will begin September 10th at Spruce Finer Consignor, Sole Sisters and at Holdmyticket.com.
We had a blast at the Mama Rave! I LOVE the Photo Booth! Are you surprised??? And they had Pixie Sticks!!!! I was soooo excited! Can you tell from the pictures? I brought my good friend Fay this time. She's got some moves, baby! Love that she was brave enough to come only knowing a couple people. But all the ladies adored her! She definitively will have to come next time. They even made a deal that she has to do everyone's hair beforehand. And of course, I have a picture with Kris from every Mama Rave so that is a MUST! Love these ladies!

It's seriously such a fun group of ladies to hang out with. I'm not a great dancer but I love getting out of my comfort zone and being with these girls. We have a blast together! We ALL crawled/crammed in the photo booth together (bottom left) and had a blast with Mishel's Selfie stick. We even did a human pyramid. Cuz we are AWESOME like that! What beautiful women I know!

GNO & a BIG plate of French Fries
I got to get out for a bit with some of my good friends tonight. We went to the Age of Adaline. It was a good chick flick but at the end we all said, "Huhhh". If you see it- you'll know what I mean! LOL However, Blake Lively (who plays Adaline) is gorgeous throughout the whole movie. What a fun role to play. She did awesome!
Then we all went to Shelly's for a BIG plate of french fries with ice cream. So yum! I just love laughing and hanging out with these ladies! Luv them! Happy early Mother's Day to ourselves, ladies! ;)

PJ Party
A bunch of my girlfriends got together tonight for a PJ Bday Party for Kris. We all wore our PJs (ok... some of us wear pjs) and brought treats to share. We planned on watching a movie but instead spent the entire night and way into the wee morning hours just talking. Ok--- talking, laughing until we cried and coming up with a million insides jokes that I can't share here because it's a family channel. LOL Gotta love girlfriends and late nights!!!
I'll never looked at my bead necklaces, squirrels or my bath mat the same again. ;)

Marvel Movie Marathon
Liberty is ecstatic about being 13 and finally watching all the PG-13 movies that Brett & I love! She is now obsessed with the Marvel movies and wanted to share her love with others. :) So she planned a Marvel Movie Marathon with some friends. It was a long, crazy day! (We closed on our home as well today) But they had a blast!!!! They watched Avengers, Captain America, Iron Man and Thor! In between, they played hide-n-seek in our big empty house, ate lunch and dinner, texted boys and consumed more candy than I want to ever know about!!! LOL
What a cute group of girlies!!

GNO Bowling
My cute friends invited me to join them on their Bowling GNO extravaganza. What fun people! I faked them out by sucking royally on the first game. ;) [OK... I really did suck the first game] But redeemed myself with the high score for the second game! Go me!!!
We also went out for late night pie. Yum! Love these ladies!

Need I say anymore about how beautiful, crazy and fun Shay is?? ;)

| I forgot my camera in her truck. She took the liberty to make sure I would remember our day together! LOL |
Thanks lady for the fun GDO today. I had a great time in the bathroom. LOL (We got MEGA-sized drinks at the theater and had to pee most of the movie.) Oh what fun memories! When it's not 14 degrees and snowy- we will definitively have to brave skiing.

Fun Times in Who-Ville
Recently, I was called to serve in the Relief Society Presidency at Church. I'm excited to get to know Jodi, Christa and Delsa along with all the Sisters in our Ward better. This time of year is always busy due to Christmas Parties and Service Opportunities so no time was wasted putting me right to work. Although- ME & decorating for a Who-Ville Party is pretty much a match made in heaven! LOL
They already had this party planned so I just helped with the finishing touches. It was so much fun! I found the most awesome Who-Ville Outfit! And as I was looking for that- WhoVille-ish decorations kept jumping out at me. By the time I was done with my errands- I had a ton of fun ideas.
Here in Helena 5th Ward- the RS Christmas Party is all about our (the Presidency) gift to the sisters. So we did the whole dinner, the decorating, the Program and the gift. It was fun to be a part of it!
For the Feast--- Our dinner was complete with authentic Roast Beast [served by the Grinch herself- Jodi], Orange Potatoes, Purple Gravy which looked a lot more Who-pudding than gravy, Grinch Rolls, Peppermint Cookies, Cindy-Lou Who Fruit, Colorful Salad, and Christmas Water. So yummy!
For Fun-- We asked the sisters to come in their PJs and best Who-ville hair. Some got into it and it made it so fun! I love when adult women can be silly together. The turnout wasn't as large as they normally get but we had a very, very cold week this week. We were so glad that so many would brave the weather and join us. They are such darling ladies!
For the Program-- Jodi found an article from Elder Jeffery R. Holland that fit perfect with our theme. I tweaked it (are you surprised?) so we could involve everyone. I think it turned out really neat. I'll have to give it's own post so I can share it!
For the Gift-- I tweaked an idea from my Ornament Exchange Ornament to go with our Theme. My cute, little family helped me to put them together. They turned out so darling. I love them! or at least I will after the memory of putting 50 or so of them together fades and all the leftover glitter disappears from my home. LOL

Staggering Ox GDO
I've been lucky enough to be invited and attend several GDOs (Girl's Days Out) lately. I'm so lucky to have met Allie and spend time with her ward girls.
Today, we went to the Staggering Ox for lunch. Such a fun place to eat. They serve these interesting sandwiches that they hallow out and put your ingredients inside. It was way good food.
It was also fun to get to know some more ladies. We ended up with 12 woman. Everyone wants to make it a regular thing so hopefully they'll keep inviting me. ;)

Here's one part of the Staggering Ox Menu. Yum!
Allie and I also stopped by Ben Franklin Crafts to check it out. There used to be one of these in North Fargo. But it was sort of like a D.I. Craft store (bins of products on the floor and not very clean)- pretty much a hole in the wall shop. It almost made me NOT want to check this one out. But here in Helena--- It's like a Michael's Arts & Crafts on Pottery Barn steroids! ;) So fun and fancy! The fabric section... FABULOUS!!! I ended up finding this super cute line of Owl Fabric. So darling! Maybe it will help me find my Craft Mojo cuz I'm pretty sure that I left it in Fargo.![]() |

Breakfast GNO
Allie invited me to a daytime G.N.O. [Does that make it a GDO or a GMO? LOL] this morning with a couple of ladies- Loury and Kim. We met at the Park Ave Bakery for breakfast. Yum! I had the Quiche while the other ladies tried the scones and cinnamon rolls. All of it looked delicious! They also have way yummy treats there as well.We had a great time visiting and getting to know each other.
After breakfast, we decided to take a walk down the Walking Mall and through Reeder's Village. (I haven't written about that because my family hasn't made it there yet but we will!) We had a fabulous time! We found lots of things in common like school annoyances, Vampire Diaries, and breast cancer. We shall be great friends!!! ;) Let's do it again soon, ladies!

1st Montana GNO
I mentioned that our ward is known as the Party Ward here in Helena. Well... the ladies planned a Birthday GNO tonight and I got invited. One of my new friends, Jenny B. came and got me. We joined the other ladies for dinner/dessert at Applebee's to celebrate a couple of the ladies birthdays (Heather & Christa).
There ended up being about 15 ladies that came. Way fun and right up my alley!
One way cute thing was--- You know how when you end up with a huge group like that and you sit at a long table--- You never get to talk to the ladies at the other end. So someone decided we were going to play musical chairs. Every 20 minuted or so, we would all stand up and rotate 2 chairs to the right. That way, you always had a couple different ladies across the table from you to start a new conversation with.
I'm sure the waitresses hated us but it was so much fun!!!!!
