Thankful Notes
For a sweet Thanksgiving present, each grandkid got a special letter filled with compliments about them individually. Plus a cute little turkey treat! These are the sheets of all my kiddos. Thanks so much for your kind words!
Thanksgiving at the Rasmussens
Thanks to Lori & Lou for hosting Thanksgiving dinner. You're the best! We were able to squish 46 lovely people around the table for a spread of fabulous food. Miss you Shauna! Thankful for all these wonderful people!
Victoria & Halle made the most adorable name tags for the dinner table. They found the idea online & FaceTime-d to decide a plan. They designed the shapes, cut them out, wrote all the names in cursive, & stuck them in pine cones they both collected. So cute!

Jake & Kenzie
Jake married Kenzie this week. We love Kenzie!!! She's so darling. (We of course love Jake too!) Brett & the girls went down to be there. The rest of us had a crazy week so we couldn't make it down but we're so happy for them!
Here's at the Temple:
Here's Grandma Seamons with some of her grandgirls:
Here's the cake Shauna made them.
Here's Brett & the girls at the Reception.
P.S. Kenzie's mom did theis awesome Flash Mob thing. The girls learned their part of the dance really well. What fun! Congrats Jake & Kenzie! We're so proud of you!

Zach & Taylor Rasmussen's Wedding
The Rasmussen's wedding was the highlight (and main purpose) for our trip this week. Zach & Taylor got married in the Payson UT Temple this afternoon. They are so cute together! They make a beautiful couple. The sealer was pretty hilarious and also had lots of good advise for them. We really appreciate their righteous examples to us and our kids. It was so special to be there with them today as they got sealed.
They had a late luncheon and then reception on the 3rd floor of this building in Lindon, UT. Shauna made their cake. Everything was quite beautiful!
Of course, when the Rasmussens are involved- silliness is a given! LOL It was a long day so by the end- things became delirious. Fun times!
P.S. Brett & the kids (as well as the groomsmen) decorated their car. It's quite a tradition that they have. Lots of fun! Justice wanted a Sprite bottle to be taped to the top. Too funny!

Oquirrh Mountain Wedding
Brett's oldest nephew, Alex married this darling girl, Laura this weekend in the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple. We were lucky enough to go down and be a part of their special day! Brett and I got to attend the ceremony. What great examples they are to our kids. We just love them!!!
Here's some of the Seamons clan waiting for them to come out of the Temple:
Look how happy they are!
I love this shot of them pinning Lori & Lou with flowers. So sweet!
I got a few pictures of the Rasmussen siblings (missing Jake since he is serving his Mission)
They had an afternoon Reception. Brett's sisters pretty much did everything for it. They are so talented. Cheri and Shauna did the flower arrangements and the dessert table. Shauna and Jill did the Wedding cake. Lori did the rest of the decorations for the walls and the tables. Char, Janet, and Jill (maybe others) made mini cheesecake cupcakes. [I excuse myself if I missed anyone or anything} It was so impressive!
Towards the end of the reception, Brett took a bunch of people out to buy things to decorate their car. Pretty funny!
Good Luck, Alex and Laura. We love you!!!!

Here's a few shots I managed to get of the Wedding Party. Gorgeous people!
I also took a few photos of others at the Temple. Justice kept photo bombing us! Silly boy! Shauna brought her Hulio to meet the family. (His name is not Hulio but that's what we call him. LOL)
One cute side note:
Zach has grown up so fast! I remember him just a little boy when I first met Brett. Wow! How time flies! In 1998, we were at the Arizona Temple with the Rasmussens. Zach insisted on being in a picture with Brett and me. I even have it on the side of the blog cuz it's so cute! So when Zach was with us today, I made him get a photo with us! Holy Moly! Look how this boy has grown. One good lookin' guy!
After the Temple, we had an amazing luncheon at a Church by their house. Seriously!!!... Lori came up with this cute "Box Lunch" idea. It was AWESOME!!! We ate and then helped set up for the reception.

Another sidenote:
A couple of Brett's aunts and Uncles were at the reception- Aunt Cheri & Uncle Brent and Uncle Don & Aunt Melissa. We got a chance to catch up with them. We probably haven't seen them for 9 years. Aunt Cheri, Melissa and I decided we are now best friends. LOL Mostly because they are into family history and they love my blog and blog book idea. I told them to come visit in Helena and I would teach them how I do it. ;)Towards the end of the reception, Brett took a bunch of people out to buy things to decorate their car. Pretty funny!
Good Luck, Alex and Laura. We love you!!!!
What a great day to spend with family!
After the newlyweds left, we stayed with the rest of the family to clean up, fly kites and do a bit of dancing. Fun times! ;)

December Trip to UT: Family Fun
Besides all the parties and activities, it was fun to just hang out and spend time with family. Thanks to all those that made time for us. We love you all! It was so awesome to see you!
(and a special thanks to the Rasmussens for cleaning up after our sick kiddo. So sorry!)

I Hope they Call Me on a Mission

We had the opportunity to be at the Rasmussen's home this afternoon to watch Jake open his Mission Call. So cool! He had tons of people there to support him. I think he had more people in that room then I had at my Wedding reception. LOL
He has been called to serve in the San Antonio, TX mission. We are very proud of him. The Rasmussen boys are such great examples to our kids. We just adore them! Congrats, Jake! I mean, Elder!
*Shay actually guessed Texas. Wahoo! Go me!
