Victoria's Ugly Sweater Song

mtseamonsfam Victoria's 5th grade class was awesome! They sang "Perfect Winter Day", "Go Tell it on the Mountain" & "Ugly Sweater". Her class rocked the 2 part harmony. Amazing! Love her smile! Thanks to Mrs. Nelson & Mrs. Holman for always doing a fabulous job putting these programs together. You ladies are the best!
ceveland14 (cheyloh) I LOVED their two songs of perfect winter and ugly sweater. I laughed pretty hard. They did so good!!!

Glory's 3rd Grade Concert

Glory's 3rd-grade Christmas concert. They sang "I have a little Dreidel" & "There's someone in the chimney". As well as singing the traditional "White Christmas" 🎄with everyone. So cute! We love this little girl! ❤️

Christmas Crafting with Mrs. Sharbono

Marathon week of making crafts in Mrs. Sharbono's 3rd grade class. Fun times! This is when being a stay-at-home mom pays off. Hours of organizing & crafting. Just my cup of ☕️! So cute!

Other ones I helped with:
Reindeer I glued together & added string beforehand:

Tree- I organized beads, cut and tied string on the rings I bought, made a sample and let them use star beads for the top instead.

Then I got to eat with these cute kids this week as well!

Justice 8th Grade Christmas Concert

Justice's last Christmas Concert @ MCS. He's been sick since last Wednesday so we were afraid he wouldn't make it. But miraculously he regained his voice enough in the last day & a half to play the trumpet. He did a great job! We love Mrs. Nelson. Her concerts are always so fun!

Here's the Traditional end to the MCS Christmas Concert- White Christmas with music by Justice's 8th grade band. "May all your Christmases be White!" ❄️

Basketball Season 2016

Justice finished up his 1st Basketball season. We're way proud of him for being brave & trying out new things. It was lots of hard work 4-5 days a week. And his knees paid a little bit of a price but good job, kid! Xo

Crazy Day with Pocahontas

Very eventful day!!! Glory did an amazing job presenting her biography on Pocahontas. She is one cute Indian! We also had another little girlie pass out during school & a nighttime basketball game all in the 4 degree weather with no daddy at home. Whew! Who wants a nap?

Glory did an amazing job with her Pocahontas presentation. Let's see if I can get a little video loaded:
Can't guarantee the quality because I had to squeeze it down so much to get it on. But here it is anyways!

P.S. Victoria passed out at school today while she was watching a presentation. She's passed out one other time last year when she was giving a presentation. Maybe she's allergic to presentations? LOL. We think she locked her knees and had some low blood sugar but an extra prayer in her direction would be appreciated.

Mrs. Sharbono's Thanksgiving Play

Mrs.Sharbono puts on a Thanksgiving Play every year. Glory's class did a awesome job today! We're thankful everyday for what a wonderful teacher Glory has. We love her! ❤️

Glory had lots of parts. She was a pilgrim girl who sailed on the Mayflower, learned to dance in Holland, and was grateful to God for answering her prayers in spite of living through a blizzard! She always was the cutest Statue of Liberty you ever did see! Love this girl- her smile, her memory & her voice. ❤️

Glory memorized what is written on the Statue of Liberty. She sang a solo part in the Thankful Song. She also helped sing the State Song & America. Love this play!

Helena High Fire

Sadness today for some bad choices a couple kids made on Monday. Luckily no one was hurt but there's so much damage! Prayers appreciated as Helena High tries to pick up the pieces & clean up the mess.

Halloween Lunchtime

I bought these cute skirts and shirts for the girls a while back. They were saving them for Halloween. But then we realized that Glory was supposed to be in a costume for school. I wasn't going to waste my money by her not wearing her cute outfit so I made her wear it this morning. Then I joined them for lunch so we could switch her into her costume for her class party. Cute kids! Love being with them for lunch!
(Although when I got to school Victoria had taken her skirt off. Oh my- switching clothes after you leave the house has already begun. Heaven help me! LOL)

Driving to Seminary

Early morning Seminary is such a sacrifice! We are so proud of Liberty getting up & going each morning. She's been getting a lot of her nighttime driving hours in. This is me taking a picture of Liberty driving to pick up the Fifes for Seminary this morning. LOL {We are swapping weeks with the Fifes so we only have to drive them in every other week. It's been a life saver!}

Justice's Fieldtrip to Yellowstone

Montana City School took all their 8th graders to Yellowstone National Park today for a fieldtrip. Pretty awesome! Justice got to visit Mammoth Hot Springs, the Horace M. Albright Visitor Center and see some wildlife. AND he took pictures!!! What a good boy! He makes his Mama proud! ;)

From Mr. O'Connell- "It has been a goal of mine for a couple years now to get our students to Yellowstone in order to study various aspects of the ecosystem there as well as the workings and impacts of a national park on the people, land and economy of our region. I would love to make that trip happen this year with our 8th grade students. Hopefully, the trip would grow into an annual event and the learning benefits that come from such a trip would evolve each year."

Muffins with Moms

My last Muffins with Moms with my son. {Sad face!} So glad to be able to be with my kiddos though. They walked me back to my car & held my hand the whole way. How sweet is that?

Walk to School Day

Even though it was raining, the kids braved the Walk to School Day with their Fife friends. Once again, it's bitter sweet as Justice participates for the last time. Man! Why does he have to be going to High School next year! ;)

See you at the Pole 2016

We participated again this year in the See You at the Pole event. This is Justice's last year at Montana City so it was a little bitter sweet for me. He shared a scripture that we've been memorizing at home. I love being there praying for the school with my prayer group!

Let the 2016-17 School Year Begin

Kids are back at school!!!

Man! They are some good-lookin' kids!

I didn't get teacher/kid pictures this year. Slacker me! But I did get one of Victoria and Sofie after school.

I drove Liberty in for her 1st day of Seminary. Early, people! Ouch! But sure cute friends!

Back to School Open House

We took the girls to MCS Open House tonight to drop off all their school stuff in their desk in their new classrooms.
We giggled when we saw this sign over Glory's classroom. We are so excited to have Mrs. Sharbono back!!

Here's a closeup:

We found out that Victoria's teacher, Mrs. K-C won't be there the whole 1st week. Her mother died last week. So sad!
We did drop off her stuff and check out the Johnny Depp wall in her classroom. LOL ;)

Justice was at Football Practice so we just had him come find his locker when he was done.
Can't believe school starts tomorrow!!!!! So sad for the end of Summer days!

Last Day of MCS 2016

The 3 younger kids finished out the school year today. I do like having them all in the same school. Justice has one more year and then heads to high school. How do they keep growing so fast!!!?

Liberty had finals all the next week so she didn't finish until June 8th. Of course, she makes it alot harder to catch a picture of her these days. So here's the school sign to commemorate her finishing her Freshman year! ;)

Victoria's Lewis & Clark Play

The 4th Grade at MCS put on a play about the Lewis & Clark Expedition. It was full of music and historical info. They all sounded great!

Victoria played Napoleon Bonaparte. She only had a tiny speaking part but she did sing a solo. We were so impressed!

Here's the beginning of Victoria's solo:
And because it was too long- here's the end of her solo: She did an AMAZING job! What a brave kid!
