Oreo & Sprite's Party

My little girl has made her Momma proud!! ;)

Liberty encouraged and helped her friends plan a ParTay this weekend. They used the excuse of it being Ann's cat's birthday and an idea was born. They got together one day a couple of weeks ago and planned it. They had a notebook, made lists of ideas and guests. They designed an invite and gave it out. They went shopping and bought the stuff. They got together early and put together gift bags and decorated. They ended up with 8-10 girls attend. They did a scavenger hunt, a craft, ate lunch, opened presents and played with the cats. They had a PURR-fect time! So cute!

Academic Fest

Victoria is a fantastic reader. She met her reading goal for the year so she was able to join in on the fun at the Academic Fest.
She got to pick 3 different classes (well she picked 6 and they gave her 3) she wanted to attend. She picked Cartooning, I Spy bottle making and Horse care.
We dropped her off after breakfast and picked her up after lunch. She had a fantastic time!

Here's her sheet from her Cartooning class. She is quite the artist!

Here she is with her I Spy bottle when I picked her up. One happy kid!

1st Montana Annual Easter Hunt

Due to sickness last year, we were unable to do our annual Easter Hunt. Then, this year being in a tiny apartment, we thought we would have to skip one more year. {Insert sad face here.} BUT- Brett decided that we would do one no matter what. And better yet, we decided to throw our Easter shin-dig out at our new place. Wahoo!
Liberty and I went out a little early to do some hiding. With having so much land, it felt like we hardly hid anything. Mostly because everything was so spread out and partly because I didn't collect anything after Easter last year on clearance and so the number of things to hide was lower than in years past. [Slacker-me!] Even with no house on the property, we found lots of places to hide our treasures. So fun!

This year, we kept our guests to our Work Family. We invited the Andersons who brought their step-dad, Scott. The Paynes had family come visit so we got double-Payne-d. It was awesome! When everyone got there, we gave each kid a crayon and their "list". Then "On your mark, get set, go!"-- Off they went. Everyone seemed to have a great time hunting for Easter Treasures. I was so glad that Brett talked me into it. It's our first official Faith Lane Partay! I'm so excited!

Besides the Hunt, we had a few other fun things to do with our guests. We brought some Carrot PingPong Throwers. It was fun to try to catch the ball. Bubbles for the kids was fun- perfect for lots of space and a slight breeze. We also provided some drinks and cookies for a treat to share. AND Brett got out the Go-Kart. Always a crowd pleaser!
What a fun 1st Montana Easter Hunt!

Birthday Sunday at the Davis'

After the Sunday morning session of Conference, most of the Seamons' family came up to the Davis' for a Birthday Sunday Lunch. We got to celebrate Alex, Dixon and Brett's birthdays! Yeah! We haven't been to a birthday Sunday for years.
Cheri made the most amazing dinner! Lemon butter Chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, salad, mandarin oranges with bananas, home-made rolls, home-made cheese cake and apple crisp! Holy moly! Who is this woman??? LOL And the boys even made home-made sushi. Delish!!! AWEsOME!!

It was a short visit but so fun to see everyone. So glad that they could make the trip to let us see them! Luv you guys! XOXO
