Davis Fun

Thanks to the Davis' for always offering & allowing us to stay & party with them when we're in UT. We appreciate your friendship so much. We're very grateful for you! Get some sleep, dear friends! (Until next time) Here's some of the fun memories we made this time.

Watching the Macy Day Parade & imitating the Rockettes:

A little of their own Turkey Bowl in the street: (Brett, Dixon, Chand, Ethan and Justice
(oh- and Cheri threw a couple)

A couple card games. With Cheri as the sore loser. LOL

Tickling Ethan:

Loving on Cricket when the teenagers weren't on their electronics or the Wii U:

Our very own Concert. Chandler on Guitar and Ethan on Vocals):

A little country Dancing with the Daddys:

A little pre-teen attitude while shopping for game treats! Victoria & Glory love their time with Halle. They have so much fun together!!

And a whole lot of CheeseBalls: Gag! {Thanks Grandpa for taking a picture. Chandler ran away so he's not in the photo but these were his Cheeseballs)

Utah State vs. BYU Game Night

BYU/Utah State Football 🏈 Party with the Davis Family!

7-11 Slurpees

Nostalgia for my youth when my friends & I used to walk down to "Sev" for a Slurpee. Quite the stylin' girls to share a little memory with.

Lights at Temple Square

Completely loved being there for the lighting ceremony at Temple Square tonight. Fun spending time with Grandma Karla, Ryler, the Davis' plus one (Cambrie), Jake & Kensie and even Daron & the kids for a few minutes. Amazing colors & a sweet spirit! 🎄

mtseamonsfam Enjoying the Nativity at Temple Square with my family. So beautiful!

Thanksgiving at the Rasmussens

Thanks to Lori & Lou for hosting Thanksgiving dinner. You're the best! We were able to squish 46 lovely people around the table for a spread of fabulous food. Miss you Shauna! Thankful for all these wonderful people!
Victoria & Halle made the most adorable name tags for the dinner table. They found the idea online & FaceTime-d to decide a plan. They designed the shapes, cut them out, wrote all the names in cursive, & stuck them in pine cones they both collected. So cute!

Sleepover with Halle

Victoria, Glory & I took a short trip down to UT. We got to stay with the Davis family. The girls were so excited to spend time with Halle. They are so cute together!

They are also pretty silly!

They treated us to a Caramel Apple Bar. So delish! and messy!!!

The girls slept each night in a massive fort. Fun times! Thanks guys for letting us stay with you! XO

UT Trip & Glory's Ears Pierced

Brett took the little girls with him down to Utah for the week.
They got to quickly see Grandma Karla & Ryler  for a dinner at the park. As well as Grammy & Grandpa for some dessert.
They enjoyed seeing family & the wedding festivities but were super excited to be able to spend time with Cheri & Halle. ;)
It was super hot so they went swimming at the neighbors one day.

And apparently ate cotton candy for dinner. LOL

Glory had made plans to get her ears pierced while she was in UT. (I kinda had forgot about that plan of hers) Aunt Cheri tried to take her one day but they would let her since Cheri wasn't a legal guardian. So they drowned their sorrows at dinner. ;)

Brett went with them the next day so they could get them done. Glory is so excited about her new ear accessory. And all the girls got matching BFF necklaces. Love these girls!

Brett got to spend some extra time with Shauna & his parents. They even went to a movie together. Good thing it's documented or no one would believe it. (They don't come out for things like that very often!;)

They had a great time!!! It's good to have them back safe!

Halle's Visit

We were lucky enough to be able to have Halle stay an extra 5 days with us after everyone else left. The girls have been looking forward to it for months!!!!! We had a blast and tried to do lots of things together!

We took her to the Walking Mall. They made a stop at the candy shop. They played a little chess. They ate some ice cream. And our car rides were hilarious! They made up songs everytime we went somewhere! Our favorite was a rap from Halle. "There's a tree by the road, there's a tree by the house, there's a tree over there... There's a blue sign!!!" We almost peed our pants!

We made T-Shirts one day to commemorate Halle's visit to Helena.

There was a lot of "Dabbing" going on!

They did some work for me so we took them to get a treat!

We went to the new Jungle Book movie one day.

We rode the Great Northern Carousel.

And visited Brett's work.

Halle came with us to drop the older kids at Karate.

On the way to the airport, we made a quick stop at the Capitol Building so Halle could say that she's been there!

The little girls got to come to the airport to see her off. It was super sad to say goodbye! Their only consolation is that my girls are heading that way at the end of July for Jake's Wedding. Thanks for coming Halle! We loved having you!!! XO

Sprinklers at the Weavers

The kids got invited over to the neighbors today to run through their new sprinkler that their Grandpa made them. Fun!!!

Our time over there ended with a huge Thunder Storm. It was way exciting! ;)

Davis Sleepover

We ended our quick trip with a sleepover at the Davis'. We always have a great time with them!
The older boys had to be up early so they headed to be right after the reception. But Cheri played a little pool with Justice which almost made them pee their pants! She's such a fun aunt!
The girls love each other so much so they soaked in their last sleepover!
In the morning, Cheri spoiled the kids with yogurt parfaits and cereal.
And what trip would be complete without loving on Cricket!!! My girls are in heaven.
Thanks for letting us crash at your place! We love you guys! XO

Payson UT Temple

We took our family to the Payson UT Temple today. It was snowing so hard when we got there!!! You couldn't even see the temple until you got really close.
The kids sat in the car and did homework while we participated in Zach & Taylor's wedding. By the time that Brett & I got out from the sealing- snow had accumulated on the grass. Brett, Justice and Ethan made a snowman on the grass. Silly boys!
I loved that we got to touch another temple. What a special tradition for our family. We're getting quite the collection down the side of our blog. I also just printed them all off to hang up in my home. So fun!

After pictures of the wedding party, Brett & I took Chandler, Ethan, Liberty and Justice to do Baptisms for the Dead. {Thanks Cheri for taking the girls with you} Since it was the middle of the day, it was only us in there. So glad we could be together in the temple!

The Old Days- Brett & Cheri Style

Cheri found this old picture of Brett & Cheri from 1980. Crack me up!

Utah S.O.C.K.S. Club

Even though most of the activities planned for this evening were originally for the boys- the girls had a blast spending time in UT with aunts & cousins.
The Davis' spoiled us as usual! Halle recently read an article in the Friend magazine called- SOCKS Rocks! and decided to get socks for all the girls so they could be in the S.O.C.K.S. Club (Sisters of Courage and Kindness and Service). What cute girls!

While the boys went to the BYU game, we went out to dinner at the Habit.

Then headed back for a PJ Party to watch Cinderella. Which BTW made us super sad then taught us to "Have Courage and Be Kind!!" Hey--- just like our SOCKS Club! Are we themed this weekend or what!? LOL

Saturday, we watched Conference. Halle & Victoria took some impressive notes. They are definitively sculpted from the same mold. Love those two!

Down in Salt Lake, we made stop (just special for Cheri) to Mrs. Backer's Pastry Shop. I grew up with Birthday cakes from there so it was fun to have a little treat!

Liberty got to go spend Friday night at the Hills and hang out with the older girl cousins. We met them to pick her up on Saturday evening.

We had dinner at Noodles and Company at which they screwed up everyone's order. Grrr! But the little girls didn't care as long as they could eat sugar and butter packet- together! LOL

We made Liberty's day by letting her browse Barnes & Noble and buy a book. She was in heaven!

Back at the Davis' home, Cheri painted the girls nails.

Cheri spoiled us with amazing food!

And of course, all the girls adore Cricket!

Such a fun weekend! Thanks Davis' for always opening your home to us. Love you! We all have our own special ways of saying goodbye. Such silly people! LOL

P.S. Thanks also to the Hills for having Liberty over. And the Rasmussens for their sweet road package. You are always so kind to us! Sorry we didn't get to see you this time.
P.S.S. We also got to see the Grandpas for a few minutes each. They both are having health problems so it was nice to hug them while we were down there!
