Farewell Fairmont

Farewell, Fairmont Hot Springs.
We love you! (Even if you got rid of Tropical Sno)
See you next year!

Halloween Candy Junkies

We brought most of our Halloween candy 🍭 to Fairmont this week. They started throwing their wrappers on the coffee table & then it just became a family joke. Could we fill the table top up by the end of the week? Oh yes--- we could!!!! Lol 👻

Fun Memories at Fairmont

Such fun memories! Can't believe our week at Fairmont is coming to an end. We totally enjoyed treasure seeking slide tokens. We rock! I think Glory rode that thing a hundred times! Victoria is getting really good at braiding hair. Some of the best Hallmark shows are at midnight! Drinking hot cocoa on the rooftop is epic! And don't forget the sleeping cow! He looks so peaceful! Lol

Horses and Goats and Llamas... Oh my!

One of our favorite traditions is to stop & feed the animals. We love the Llama & the goats! There is one little black horse that kicks other animals. He's sooo MEAN!
It's also so peaceful to listen to the water fountain. Good times!

Just Keep Swimming....

We enjoy swimming after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner & of course midnight swimming with a dip in the hot tub! Love the Hot Springs!

Sunday Walk

Perfect night for a walk with this awesome man!! XO

Even with the CRAZINESS of this crew! There was teenage road kill, a little one on a mission about a mile ahead of us all, being chased by a blue bear/pony/warthog, golf ball fishing and bare foot hiking. Always an adventure!!! LOL

Fairmont 2016

We go to Fairmont every Fall for our family vacation. Nothing like spending time together- gorging on Halloween candy, fighting nasty colds with boxes & boxes of tissues, lovin' on the crabby teenager, late night swims & watching the Hallmark channel 24-7. Good times!

Fairmont Vacation: Polar Plunge

The temps dropped so badly this week but it didn't stop us from completely enjoying our Hot Spring Swim Fun! We actually swam in -4 degree weather! We are CRAZY!!! The girls and I also enjoyed the steam room each day before we got dressed.

Brett and the kids even rolled in the snow before hoping back in the pool. Silly family!

One night, we took turns trying to get the biggest icicles in each others hair. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

One of our favorite parts is the slide. During the winter season- it's only open in the evening but we had a blast. Because it was soooo cold- the steam made it nearly impossible to see anything once you made it up a couple flights of stairs. It was hilarious!

They actually cleaned the indoor pool at the beginning of the week (closed, drained and painted it) so we had to use the outdoor pool. However by the end of the week, it was back open. We had fun jumping, sitting in the hot tub, and of course, eating Tropical Sno! Our favorite!

Fun Family memories @ Fairmont!

Fairmont Vacation: Condo Fun

Soon  after we married, we got roped into one of those Timeshare presentations and ended up buying one. We paid way more than we should have but with joining the exchange program, we have definitely done some fun things and shared it with others. So not a total loss. However, after we moved here, we used our exchange to visit Fairmont Hot Springs. It's only a little over an hour from our home. After one visit, we were hooked. We even bought a week from them so we can go ever year. We hope to sell our other one and just enjoy time here instead.
We really like to visit when it's cold and possibly snowy. That way we take full advantage of the HOT Springs part of it. Our family loves it there!
Check out this shot of the resort one morning we were there. That's steam coming from the pool.

We bought a week with a two room condo. We enjoyed hanging out together- playing games, watching movies, making yummy food, popping popcorn, sipping hot cocoa, climbing trees and being together. We also LOVED swimming! But that's another post. ;)

The day we left- it snowed ALOT!!! We took advantage and played in it. Snow much fun!

Our whole family LOVES pretzels so we treated ourselves to some before we left. Poolside as well. Luv it!

Fairmont Hot Springs: October Swim

We LOVE the Hot Springs at Fairmont Resort! It is so fun to swim outside in the freezin' cold! Brrrrrr & Yeah! We love how the steam rises from the pools and makes it kind of creepy. A perfect October activity! As a bonus- we were there during the full moon. It was big and beautiful in the BIG Montana sky!
Most of the family got half day passes to the slide so that's what most of our night consisted of. We had a blast! You can also buy glow sticks so you can see in the slide but we opted for it being pitch black and freaky! ;) [These photos were the rides in the light but we stayed until it closed as well]
The kids also loved jumping in. Funny kiddos!
But when your face started to freeze- you had to spend some time under water. LOL:
We ended our night with a Tropical Sno-cone to eat in the hot tub! Oh yeah, baby!
Oh yes.. and the boys posing while they were trying to pick up women. Whoot Whoo! (that's my whistle) LOL
Fun family times! Good bye, Hot Springs... until next year!

Fairmont Hot Springs: Take Two

We split our Fairmont Hot Springs Timeshare Vacation in two because we didn't want the kids to miss school. So after finishing up our short school week, we headed back down south for another fun weekend away.
** We are thinking about getting a week down there just because it's so close. We'll see how it goes after the government decides to reopen. ;) **
The Fairmont condos are older but have everything to make for a relaxing Seamons weekend. What good memories!!
The condo had enough space for us all to sleep, with a loft, a big screen TV, a fully stocked kitchen (for making pumpkin pie bars in. Yum! Thanks Teri for introducing me to them), a out door patio with a BBQ and a fireplace. We were in heaven!
You have to drive down the street a little ways to enjoy the Fairmont Hotel & the Hot Spring Pools or their Gift Shop. But not a big deal!
One night we ate at their Cafe'. We got to experience our very 1st PASTY along with a Buffalo burger! Not bad!
It was a perfect little get-away! Loved it!

Fairmont Hot Springs: Feeding the Animals

Last night we bought several bags of FEED at the gift shop so we could use it on our Sunday walk today. On the corner lot of the Resort, they have several animals that you can feed. The kids had a blast feeding and naming them all. Our favorite was probably the Llama LINDA! or the nice brown horse. BROWNIE! There was a rude black horse that kept kicking the other animals. MEANY! And a goat/pig/penguin that could barely waddle he was so fat! GOATIGUIN! Fun times!

Fairmont Hot Springs: Mini Golf

We did a little Mini-Golf at the Resort. Mom was AWESOME!!! (Really!! I kicked "butte"! LOL)
Justice got a hold of the camera and thought he was very funny snapping rapid pictures. Silly boy!

Fairmont Hot Springs: Resort

This weekend, we did a Interval International Exchange with our condo share to try out a resort about an hour away from us. It's called Fairmont Hot Springs. It was so fun!
"Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is known throughout the Northwest for its pools.
There are two over sized Olympic swimming pools and two mineral soaking pools. One of each located indoors and outdoors. The pools are fed by a virtually unlimited supply of 155 degree natural hot spring water, cooled to various temperatures for comfort and maximum enjoyment.
The Native Americans considered hot springs to be medicinal and many people to this day swear by the healing powers of natural hot springs. If swimming and soaking is not your thing, try the excitement of the 350 foot enclosed water slide. It’s a wet, exhilarating ride into Fairmont’s outdoor pool and you’re guaranteed to make a splash. The waterslide uses the hot springs water, and along with the outdoor pool is open year round."
Brett and all the kids tried out the slide! They loved it!!
Even with it being outdoors and mid-October
