New Years Eve at Home

Last of our New Years Celebrations! Our traditional balloon popping with ear protection! Lol And a few leftover sparklers. Good times with this little fam! Then a few tears & yelling at each other because it's after 1AM- (call us sick & tired) and we'll call it a year! Goodbye 2016! Xo 😘

New Years Eve Dance

The 5th Ward planned a 14+ Dance for tonight. Liberty worked so Brett and I just decided to meet some friends there for a little while. Loved getting to dance with my favorite guy! We practiced some country dancing including some flips. Got to bust a move with some friends. Even got in a couple slow dances. Happy New Year, love! ❤️

New Years Eve Feast

Brett made the kids a fancy dinner before we went out with friends. He is a good Dad! (Liberty was getting ready for work. She probably only ate the rice anyways. Maybe some broccoli. She thinks she's a vegetarian. 😜)

Night Skiing

Night skiing @ the Great Divide with the fam & Kandra. Only the big lift was open so Mom & the little girls braved it with everyone. It was scary but we made it!!! Glory & Mom then treated ourselves to hot cocoa & fries (& Backyard skiing) while the rest rocked the hills a few more times. Chilly but fun memories! #skiingfamily⛷

Family Fun Sucks!

A little fun family ice skating... oh wait.. except for showing up 40 minutes before it opens because the teenager planned it, the ice being slick, the room bring cold, Victoria falling on{&possibly breaking} her tail bone the 1st time around, Glory hitting her elbow, Liberty's friends not showing up, and Dad embarrassing Justice... yep! Family fun sucks!!!! 😜😜😜

Activity Day Girl Craft

Invited the Activity Day girls over today for a Winter Break Craft. (Only a couple girls could make it) The thread we used made everyone a little frustrated! Just call them "Bulgy Snowmen" ⛄ But they are cute!! Thanks girls for coming Quinn & Rebecca! {Funny side note- at 7PM- Kylie showed up. Her mom had read "@ 7....... Faith Lane and assumed it was at 7PM. Oops! Bummer!}

Truck Sledding

Brett pulled the kids around the neighborhood on the sled behind the truck! It's been windy so they came back with some pretty red cheeks. Fun Dad!

Homemade Christmas

Worship on Christmas

mtseamonsfam So thankful for my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! So blessed to have this little family to share this life with. At this Christmastime; as I reflect on my role as a woman, I am in awe of Mary, the mother of Jesus- her faith, her diligence, her ❤️.
From Luke 1:46-49- "...and Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name."

In this coming year-- May I magnify the Lord a little more, rejoice a little more, and have the desire to follow the Savior a little more- for He has done great things in my life and His name is holy!! #oneluckymom #oneluckywife #daughterofgod

Christmas Morning

A few of our Christmas morning traditions- we all start out with a snuggle in Mom & Dad's bed. Then a family prayer holding hands. With Christmas being on Sunday – democracy in action – we voted to just open stockings before Church. Celebrate Jesus 1st. Presents can wait. Then we enjoyed our traditional cinnamon roll wreath.
