YW Girls' Camp

Liberty went to YW Girls Camp this week. I didn't hear about much except some silly Anti-Superhero skit she and her friends put on. She was tired and a little sunburned but she survived! The lake and scenery look amazing though! (Thanks to some of the leaders who sent me some pics)

VBS Norway

Victoria & Glory got to participate in the Life Covenant's VBS (Vacation Bible School)  this week. Our neighbors told us about it. They were a little nervous at first [they didn't know any adults there] but... They LOVED it!

Here's one of their favorite songs they learned there.
I love the excitement for Jesus they get from VBS!

Ok... here's one more that we loved.
They got a CD so we've been rocking out to Jesus songs! Love it!

Hanging Out as Long as We can

The movers came and packed up the Paynes this week. We took advantage of spending as much time with them as we could. We picked the kids up every day with Bri & Allie took care and cleaned out their home. We played, watched movies, made crafts, swam, went to the theater, ate meals and jumped on the tramp (all in the midst of a lice attack ;). Adventures I tell you! There were some long days but wouldn't have changed a bit of being able to be with them a little longer!!!
Cotton candy one last time:

A little face painting & Diva dressing ;):

The last night was almost midnight before they finished up. Kassi was asleep on the couch. They had just picked up Kara from YW camp so we even got to say goodbye to her as well. They are off on their long road trip tomorrow morning. Love you guys! Best of Luck on your road trip and new adventure. You'll be missed!

P.S. Kara texted me a few times to let me know how their road trip was going. Love it!!!

Make-up Father's Day

With Brett back in town, we celebrated our Make-up Father's Day. We made his favorite BBQ rib dinner with mashed potatoes & gravy, and broccoli. The girls made him chocolate chip cookies for dessert. And we also had a Turtle Pie. Yum!

We spoiled him with presents and cards as well.

You are such a great dad!
We're glad you're back! Love you so much! XO

"Best Goodbye Party EVER!!!"- quotes Kassi

Time is flying by way too fast!! Our dear friends, the Paynes are moving to Oregon for a job position next week . Their move will greatly impact our lives. First- they were our 1st Helena friends. We have spent many holidays and weekends and trips together. They have become like our family. Almost all our greatest memories have involved this little family. Next, Bri has been Brett's boss & workout buddy for about 3 years. It will be so weird to not have him here. Also- we have had the kids over every Wednesday night during mutual for over a year. What are we going to do without them??? We are surely going to miss them!!!

We wanted them to have the opportunity to say goodbye to friends and let them know how much we will miss them. So we threw them a little goodbye party. I went through all my pictures and printed off almost a hundred pictures of things we have done with them over the past years. I put them all over our house. It was so fun to look back at our memories together! I let them take all the pictures as a gift. Allie & I spent quite a bit of time writing on the back of all the pictures so they can have all those memories to take with them.
I also know all of their favorite treats so I made sure they were all over the place in candy dishes. At one point during the night- Kassi said "This is the BEST goodbye party EVER!!!" She made my day! Sure hope they know how much we love them and will miss them.

We had yummy food, and a bunch of good friends. Thanks to those who came to say their goodbyes!

I made sure to get pictures of them with their friends. The Payne kids were teasing me that I have more pictures of them than they do. LOL

The Payne family stayed late and the kids enjoyed one last time of the tramp & capture the flag with the Dads. We sure are going to miss them!!! Good Luck on your new Adventure, dear friends! XO

BackPacking Trip Boy

Justice got to go on a Backpacking Trip with his Scout Troop. It was overnight. They experienced every kind of weather. Super hot, windy, rainy, hail and even snow. Crazy!!!

Cosplay Craziness

Liberty got together with some friends to practice for a skit they're going to do at the end of July at Nagu Con. (It's like a Comic Con but for Anime fanatics)
They crack me up! I think they're acting out something from Doctor Who.

Also she tried on her other cosplay for Nagu con as well. They are dressed up as characters from BBC Merlin.

Father's Day Minus the Father

Brett unfortunately had to go out of town for 10 days. AND it had to be over Father's Day. So we were on our own to make the weekend special while we missed our Dad.
We found the Exotic Fruit section at Super One & the kids had a fabulous time picking out fun things to try.

Then Justice BBQ-ed us up some shish-kabobs. Delish!!!

Missed you, Brett! Wish you were here!

Seamons' Kid Day 2016

It was time again for our annual Kid Day celebration.
We met Dad for lunch &  took the kids to subway.

We got them gift cards at Walmart for them to buy a gift. They would not cooperate for a picture but you get the idea!

P.S. I was informed that this was a "LAME" kid day. I obviously have set the bar too high in years past because they felt I didn't do enough. LOL Oh boy!! What other kids get special meals, gifts, and the flag hung in their honor every year???

Scones with Lybberts & Heinitz

We had the Lybbert & the Heinitz families for Scones tonight. It was so fun to get to know them better. They are some awesome families. We made and ate yummy scones!

And the ladies visited while the boys played some ball.

Dear Edwina (Victoria's Date with Mom)

The Paynes are out of town for a house hunting trip (grrr! to them for making plans to leave us! ) so they gave us their tickets to the play "Dear Edwina". So...
Mom got to take Victoria on a special date to the Grandstreet Theater tonight. We had a great time!

Freshman Seminary

Liberty attended Seminary Graduation on June 8th. She was awarded her certificate for completing her Freshman year.

She then attended a big Luau that evening that the Holmans hosted for the youth. (She never gets me any pictures. Grrr!)

A couple days later, she threw a fun Seminary party for her class. She had several people come. They seemed to have a great time! I'm proud of her for being a planner!!!

Halle's Visit

We were lucky enough to be able to have Halle stay an extra 5 days with us after everyone else left. The girls have been looking forward to it for months!!!!! We had a blast and tried to do lots of things together!

We took her to the Walking Mall. They made a stop at the candy shop. They played a little chess. They ate some ice cream. And our car rides were hilarious! They made up songs everytime we went somewhere! Our favorite was a rap from Halle. "There's a tree by the road, there's a tree by the house, there's a tree over there... There's a blue sign!!!" We almost peed our pants!

We made T-Shirts one day to commemorate Halle's visit to Helena.

There was a lot of "Dabbing" going on!

They did some work for me so we took them to get a treat!

We went to the new Jungle Book movie one day.

We rode the Great Northern Carousel.

And visited Brett's work.

Halle came with us to drop the older kids at Karate.

On the way to the airport, we made a quick stop at the Capitol Building so Halle could say that she's been there!

The little girls got to come to the airport to see her off. It was super sad to say goodbye! Their only consolation is that my girls are heading that way at the end of July for Jake's Wedding. Thanks for coming Halle! We loved having you!!! XO

Sprinklers at the Weavers

The kids got invited over to the neighbors today to run through their new sprinkler that their Grandpa made them. Fun!!!

Our time over there ended with a huge Thunder Storm. It was way exciting! ;)

Family Visit

We had lots of fun with our extended family this week. We can't tell them how much we appreciated them coming up to visit! We love visitors!

We made cupcakes for the baptism, ate lost of food and occasionally took a nap. ;)

We took a couple walks. On the walk with Grammy, we got up close and personal with our neighbors horse. The kids loved it!

We enjoyed another walk with ball throwing, trash collecting and seeing George! Liberty LOVES having her picture taken! ;) Can you tell? Silly girl!

The boys all went out shooting one afternoon.

We took everyone over to the little gas station for some Huckleberry Soda! Yum!
And of course, we had to make a midnight run for some Diet Coke for Cheri & Shauna! ;)

We played games...

and basketball...

and trac ball...

We got to show off Shauna, Halle, Grandma Karla & Ryler at Church. Aunt Shauna ran into her old missionary companion, Sister Nelson (now that she's married). They haven't seen each other for like 25 years! How fun is that????
Missionary Companions:

We spent an afternoon at Spring Meadow Lake using the kayaks. The weather was perfect!

Love you all! Thanks for coming up to Montana! XO
