Dole Plantation

We had not planned to visit the Dole Plantation but because we basically drove past it on our way to the top of Oahu, we quickly stopped to check it out.

If we had more time we would have taken a Train Ride and checked out the World's Largest Maze covering over 3 acres and made of more than 14,000 local Hawaiian plants in the shape of a pineapple. That would have been cool!

But with the time we could spare- we did check out the store. How many things can be made with Pineapple?? LOL We picked up a few fresh pineapple to share with our family back on Maui. And tried a few of the fresh fruit from the stand outside. Yum!

We also learned our names in Hawaiian from one of the employees.
Brett- Kama'aina or Paleki
Shay- Kahai or Kahelelai for Sheleray
Liberty- Kuo Koa (or Lipeki)
Justice- Iukike
Victoria- Lanakila (or Wikolia)
Glory- Aloha (or Kaloli)
How fun is that???
