Float Trip: Repeated

When we won the Float Trip from the Scout Auction, it was supposedly from the Staleys and the Tubbs families. It turned out that neither could go at the same time so we got super lucky and they both took us separately! ;)
The Staleys back in July (see here)
And the Tubbs today--
The Tubbs also invited their sister-in-law, the Bywaters and the Hansens. It was quite the Float Party!!! We had a fabulous time!
Here's everyone getting kayaks ready:

Everyone on the River:

Here's all our friends on the float:

They made another stop for crawfish:

And rock Climbing:

There were races:

And Bumper Boats:

And waterfights:

And treat sharing: (We learned this from the Staleys)

What a fun day with some fun people!

Helena's Farmers Market

We've never been before so we decided to take the girls down to the Farmer's Market this morning. It was so cool! We got apples, pears, headbands, Christmas Ornaments, Mexican Street Corn, Huckleberries (Yum!), Kettlecorn and corn to take home. There were musicians and vendors and food. What a fun time!

Prayer Group Picnic

My darling Prayer Group had a Picnic in the park so we could meet each others families. It was fun to have most of all of their families there. (A lot of the dads & teenagers couldn't make it) We ate and visited and all the kids played. What an amazing group of people to know!

Fife Game Night

For the Scout Auction- we won a game night with the Fife Family (the other Fifes ;). They ahd us over for some amazing dinner. Thanks Steve! ;) And we played games. They are Game Masters! We loved it even more because for some reason-  Liberty & I rocked it tonight!!! Kris was a Loser Peon most of the night! LOL {Which is hilarious because Steve & Kris almost always win.} I had to get a picture of the two of them at the bottom of the totem pole. Love it!!!!

Liberty's Lake Party

Liberty planned an end of the Summer Lake Party today. She invited a lot of people. A few of her girlfriends were able to come. They took kayaks and boogie boards and treats. I think they had a good time! Goodbye Summer water days!

Just Tapped- Fife Date Night

The Fifes treated us to dinner for helping them with their move a couple months ago. It was so fun!!! They took us to Just Tapped. They only do about 4 dinners a month. It's a presentation and you get to eat all the food she makes. Plus they send home the recipes. Tonight was Huckleberry Night. AMAZING! Thanks guys! We sure love you!

Decision America Prayer Ralley

All our Prayer group ladies decided to go to the Capital this morning to participate in the Prayer Rally with Franklin Graham. It was a way neat experience to be surrounded by other Christians on the steps of the Capitol praying for our Country. Brett was able to take a minute to join us. Heaven knows we could use a little extra help these days.

Sucker Tooth!

Victoria has a super sweet tooth. This time... it's literally a sweet tooth. LOL She has quite a few baby molars falling out. She used a caramel sucker to help one along. Too funny!

Tatoo-ed Children

No matter how much I tell my girls to not write on themselves- it seems I always find them tatoo-ing themselves up. LOL

20th Anniversary GetAway

Brett and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary this weekend!!! We braved leaving the kids by themselves and did a little getaway to Idaho. Perfect distance to not be in the car forever.

We found a fun theme-room Hotel in Idaho Falls. We stayed in the Venice room. It was awesome!

They provide Bubbly on our own little private "balcony".

We drove down to Blackfoot & spent time with our friends for a wedding reception. Then came back to spend the night at the hotel. We even rented a massage table. So amazing! I need one of those at home!

They delivered breakfast to the door in the morning. We got it a little late so the Hot Cocoa cream was melted but everything was delicious!

Once we checked out, we headed downtown to explore a little, We did a little shopping then saw that they have a special exhibit at the Museum. It's right up our alley so we decided to stop. "Rebels with a Cause"

We caught the tale end of the Farmers Market so we tried Mexican Street corn. Oh.My.Heavens!!! It looks and sounds gross but it was super fabulous!

We checked out the Falls. The Idaho Falls Temple is closed this week so we just enjoyed the view.

We found a little place to eat lunch. It was called Diablas. The owner was our chef. We just sat and watched her make our lunch. It was so good! I tried the Seafood Eggs Benedict. It came with fresh yogurt as well. (like homemade- Yum!) Brett tired one of their signature sandwiches and a super fresh salad.

We did head up to Rexberg to do a session at the Temple. It's the 1st time I've been inside so it was a special day! We are going to count this as our Touching Temple photo for Rexberg. Love it!
I am very lucky to be married to Brett. I can't believe we've been together for over 20 years. Crazy! Love you Honey! XO

P.S. Before we headed home- I got to stop and hug my friend Amber. She lives in Rexberg. They were having a Ward Party at the Church so we stopped by for a few minutes. It was so fun to see her. Bummer that I forgot to take a picture. Dumb! Oh well! Good to see you, lady! Xo

Fay's Daughter's Wedding

A while back, my friend Fay asked if I would come down to her daughter's wedding reception in Idaho. My first thoughts were that it was super nice of her to want me there but not sure that I could pull it off. As I looked into it- it turned out to be the day before my anniversary. I decided to see if we could make it a special get-away for Brett and I. It worked out perfect! We got to help out at the reception down in Blackfoot. Fay's (and her amazing side kick friends that set up) decorations were awesome. Everything looked so gorgeous!

We ended up showing up late because of some really bad road construction. I felt bad until we realized Fay & all the food wasn't there either. These two AMAZING ladies were holding things together and improvising the best they could. Brett & I jumped in and did what we could to help for the evening. It was so fun to hang out with Mekell & Lori the whole night. {They knew Fay back when they all lived in the 4th Ward together} They are such incredible people!!! We were lucky to spend some time with them. Fun times!!!

Whistle While You Work on Your Welding Table

Brett has been busy using his welder to make a welding table. It's one heavy duty thing! (I caught him whistling while he was working on it. LOL)
He paid Victoria to paint the legs for him. It's looking super cool!

Pokemon Go

The Pokemon Go craze just made it to our house. LOL It took us a while to catch up with the times, I guess. The kids don't have smartphones and we didn't want Mom's to be hauled all over the place. We had one sad teenage boy for quite a few weeks. ;( Then we figured out how to get it on our free tablet we got with our phone last time. They rigged something up on Justice's bike so he can take it with him. The kids have now been out several times. They pack a lunch, take a couple bucks, a refill bottle and head over to the Montana City Store, or the Baptist Church or the school. They are usually gone for hours. They love it and seem to get quite a bit of exercise. Fun times!

Here's the info their website tells you about the game:
Travel between the real world and the virtual world of Pokémon with Pokémon GO for iPhone and Android devices. With Pokémon GO, you’ll discover Pokémon in a whole new world—your own! Pokémon GO is built on Niantic’s Real World Gaming Platform and will use real locations to encourage players to search far and wide in the real world to discover Pokémon. Pokémon GO allows you to find and catch more than a hundred species of Pokémon as you explore your surroundings.

The Pokémon video game series has used real-world locations such as the Hokkaido and Kanto regions of Japan, New York, and Paris as inspiration for the fantasy settings in which its games take place. In Pokémon GO, the real world will be the setting!

Get on your feet and step outside to find and catch wild Pokémon. Explore cities and towns around where you live and even around the globe to capture as many Pokémon as you can. As you move around, your smartphone will vibrate to let you know you're near a Pokémon. Once you've encountered a Pokémon, take aim on your smartphone's touch screen and throw a Poké Ball to catch it. Be careful when you try to catch it, or it might run away! Also look for PokéStops located at interesting places, such as public art installations, historical markers, and monuments, where you can collect more Poké Balls and other items

Glory Drives the GoKart- Finally!!!

This girl has been dying to be tall enough & old enough to drive the Go-Kart. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to get the big one up and moving. She was hoping for it to be ready when she turned 8. (Guess that's the magic number when you're tall enough & old enough??) BUT....
Brett took the blue Go-Kart into our Bishop's Mechanic. They finally got it running!! [It's been sitting in our back yard for 2 years as a lawn ornament]
It's the perfect size for Glory. She's so excited!!!!!

YW 4th Year Float Trip

Liberty got to participate in the 4th Year Hike. Only this year-- they decided to do a Float Trip instead. They left early this morning and headed up to Wolf Creek for a fun day on the river.
Liberty was actually way excited because she finally talked us into letting her have a sleepover with her friend, Kandra. Kandra spent the night so that we could take her to the float trip. They had a good time! And this time- they remembered sunscreen. Good job, girls!
They had big rafts as well as a couple kayaks. They got to switch half way through. Plus they stopped and had lunch along the way. And did a little cliff jumping. Fun time!

P.S. I found this picture of a Youth Activity that they did at the Rock Wall here in Helena. I love Liberty's face. She's in a pretty pouty stage and this exactly what she look like most of the time at our house. LOL (She's the 3rd from the left hiding behind Aimee.)
