Brunch with Brothersons

Brunch with some awesome college students! We loved getting to spend time with them! {Brett got hold of my best friends daughter that's attending BYU. We took Ellen & her "boy" out for lunch. It just happened that her brother, Ethan, was in town. How fun to catch up with them. Only thing that would have been better would have been if their Momma had been there, }

Memories and Testimonies of Lana & Garold

Brett brought a recorder to document some stories & testimonies of Grandma & Grandpa (Lana & Garold Seamons). It was fun to sit around and hear about them. Super sweet to see them get emotional & share in their laughter! Long live the "Kick the cat" story! Lol

(I'll see if I could transcript some of the stories and add them here)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Very grateful for my little family on this Thanksgiving day! Hope your day was filled with food, pie, family & love!!!

Thankful Notes

For a sweet Thanksgiving present, each grandkid got a special letter filled with compliments about them individually. Plus a cute little turkey treat! These are the sheets of all my kiddos. Thanks so much for your kind words!

Thanksgiving at the Rasmussens

Thanks to Lori & Lou for hosting Thanksgiving dinner. You're the best! We were able to squish 46 lovely people around the table for a spread of fabulous food. Miss you Shauna! Thankful for all these wonderful people!
Victoria & Halle made the most adorable name tags for the dinner table. They found the idea online & FaceTime-d to decide a plan. They designed the shapes, cut them out, wrote all the names in cursive, & stuck them in pine cones they both collected. So cute!

Liberty the Drummer

This girl is in love. Uncle Louie let her play his drum set. She was so excited! Best Thanksgiving ever!

Fantastic Beasts

Liberty went to a movie with a bunch of friends. They LOVED it! Except for the lack of kissing at the end! (Oh my heavens! Are they growing up too fast or what? LOL)

Those left when I got there- Liberty, Hannah and Jaron

Mrs. Sharbono's Thanksgiving Play

Mrs.Sharbono puts on a Thanksgiving Play every year. Glory's class did a awesome job today! We're thankful everyday for what a wonderful teacher Glory has. We love her! ❤️

Glory had lots of parts. She was a pilgrim girl who sailed on the Mayflower, learned to dance in Holland, and was grateful to God for answering her prayers in spite of living through a blizzard! She always was the cutest Statue of Liberty you ever did see! Love this girl- her smile, her memory & her voice. ❤️

Glory memorized what is written on the Statue of Liberty. She sang a solo part in the Thankful Song. She also helped sing the State Song & America. Love this play!

Violin Prodigy

  • mtseamonsfamThis amazing little girl heard that she might be asked to play a song on her violin at our Ward Christmas Party in December. So yesterday she figured out how to play The First Noel. No sheet music. Just her smart little brain figuring out the notes. Who is this kid? Guess I'll forgo my "no Christmas music before Thanksgiving" rule just for today! Lol

  • nicholec78That's a dumb rule anyway 😉. Good job, Victoria!
  • buhsconowitzThat is so awesome! It sounds so good!!
  • janniediVictoria was telling me just today in class about your Christmas music rule! She is so cute and talented.

Costume Making- Statue of Liberty

  • mtseamonsfamI made a Statue of Liberty costume today for Glory's class play next week. (We made it big enough so that Liberty could actually wear it.) But Glory looks darling! She memorized- "On the Statue of Liberty these words are written, Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me. I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

  • scharachAwesome!
  • shilohsangelsSo cute! I love that you are on Instagram!! Missing you and the family

Good Samaritans

mtseamonsfamNothing like blowing a tire on the side of the freeway on an early morning seminary drive to make you super grateful for Good Samaritans. Thanks Kevin Williams for rescuing me by changing my tire in the freezing morning air. And Kris F. for rescuing the late students. You both are blessings in my life today!
  • kyakawichAnd it was freezing out this morning. Thumbs up to good samaritans.

Not the Mama Rave but...

  • mtseamonsfamNot quite the Mama Rave... but a fine time with these great people! When Reid's away, the rest of us will... attend Conference & eat lowCal/Sugar free treats at Applebee's. Oh man-the 2 hotties in the middle know how to ParTay! LOL Bonus though... we did share the Gospel with Johan. Add him to your prayers. Credit to Justin for the picture.

  • janniediHa! Shay, funny that it's Reid missing because I kept seeing only Brett tonight and thought you must not have been able to make it to conference for some reason. Looks fun!
  • misskris21Just two low-cal, sugar-free crazy gals on the town! Thanks for hanging with us!
