The kids (at least the older ones) are having a tough time feeling like they belong here at the Montana City School. Most of the students there have been together since Kindergarten and seem to not be as welcoming as other schools we have been to. It's a bummer! So to try and help out a bit- we decided to let the kids invite 2 or 3 friends each to get to know other kids better. I was just going to let it be a glorified playdate but at the last minute I decided that I should at least do the food kindof fancy. ;) It turned out way cute! Oh how I LOVE a theme!!
Glory invited Teagan T. from her school class who happens to be our neighbor along with his sister, Kennedy who is in Kindergarten. She also really wanted Korbin to come. It worked out good because he's in Kindergarten too. Such cute kids!
Victoria invited three girls from her school class. Jayden, Sophie & Makenzie. Jayden and Makenzie happen to also be in our new Ward.
Justice invited Caleb and Bryson who are in his new Church class. He also invited Byron- his football buddy who happens to leave at the bottom of the hill (even though he is in a different grade) We can see his house from our back deck.
Liberty hasn't seen her friend Ann since the beginning of the Summer. (She was her best friend in East Helena not in MCS. But Liberty really wanted to have her over. We love Ann!)
We ate, played, jumped on the tramp, rode the go-kart, watched a movie, played flashlight hide-n-seek and ate rootbeer floats. The kids had a blast! Fun times!
