Glory's Student of the Month

Glory was nominated for Student of the Month by her teacher. Mrs. Johnson called me earlier in the week to inform me. She said Glory is always a hard worker and contagious with her good attitude. Way to go, Sis!
Parents are invited to attend the Student of the Month Assembly. They went all out. It was way fun!
The whole school was already in the gym when they started. They had the Student of the Month kids come into the gym while they played "the Eye of the Tiger" song. It was cool! As they announced each kids name they came through the Student of the Month Streamer Gate. The kids were so excited! They received a certificate and a bag of popcorn.

They also had a funny Scientist that does experiments with the kids. This time she "warmed up" soap in a microwave. She was hilarious!

The finished the assembly by having all the guests join their students down on the gym floor to sing and dance their fight song and others. Glory know her Fight song inside and out. I love to hear her sing it. What a fun time!
